Shadow Shot Sunday #122

Well, I'm back in the Pacific Time Zone, and our weather is cool and already very Autumn-like. That means I'm game for taking our pooches for nice long walks at the game refuge. The trail follows the river and has lovely shadows most of the way. We didn't see any moose, but the mosquitoes were out in force! Sheesh!! My top two photos do feature some shadowy moose though ~ they are on the curtains I sewed for in our little loft bathroom.
To join in the fun of Shadow Shot Sunday (SSS for short) just click HERE and it will take you to Tracy's blog. She is in Australia, so it's already Sunday there. Have a great weekend.
love, Cassie

What lovely captures, delightful shadows and I love the doggies! I always love light coming through blinds and sheer curtain and you've caught them perfectly! I hope you have a lovely weekend, Cassie! Enjoy!

Hi Cassie! Lovely shots! I especially like the ones with the pooches in them. Happy weekend to you! :-)

Nice shadow shots, Cassie. I would like to walk down that trail with you and the dogs, sans the mosquitos.

I like the window treatment along with its complex shadows - the blinds are horizontal and the vertical pleating throws the light around, too. The doggies aren't bothered by the winged mosquitoes, although we humans forget about the insects - until it is too late!

I'm with Dorothy, It would be nice to walk with you and the pups and enjoy the cool weather. The curtains and the shadows are wonderful, very cozy. Enjoy the weekend.

Lovely light and shadow in those beautifully textured curtains. And that trail is irresistible.

It's nice to see dogs able to be off a leash, exploring in freedom.

How nice to walk through the shadows with your dogs! Love the wood in that kind of weather with the sun streaming through the leaves casting shadows on the path!

Thanks for visiting my blog and LOL I imagined you hanging of the bed imagining walking upside down on the ceiling! Don't we all have our dreams to remember!

Beautiful dogs -- and very patient -- at least the one with all the hats! Your basement patio is fabulous. Are you really going to live up in Idaho all the time? My son lives in Boise, and tho' it is very pretty in the spring, I couldn't take the cold winters , but I know some people love them. Maybe that's where you got your love for the Norwegian Cuties!

I've never seen such HUGE mosquitoes as this year in Iowa, like stealth bombers...your lil' curtains are so inviting, as well as the trail and willing terriers...let's go ma!!!

All very lovely photos! I've never seen a moose in real life before. Only on TV. I've seen plenty of mozzies though! Well, I've felt more than I've seen. I'd much prefer to see a moose over a mozzie any day :)

Hope you have a great week Cassie!

I could definitely do without the mosquitoes!

Looks like a nice trail to meander on an Autumn day.

You mentioned rainy days with cuddly dogs in your comment on my blog ... that seems like a perfect rainy day.
