Relax The Back & Comfort In Seating

Thera Cane
Yesterday morning I went to Relax The Back & purchased a Thera Cane to use for my fibromyalgia. One of the therapists I have gone to suggested it for times I couldn't get in for a massage. I think I'm going to get a lot of use out of it. Especially when I'm up at the cabin & my favorite masseuse,Patrick, is down in Phoenix!
* Our Ekornes chairs look like this, but are a burnt sienna in creamy, soft leather:
Anyway, while I was at Relax The Back I tried out a Human Touch zero gravity chair. Oh my goodness; it was so comfortable! Now, I am a devotee of Ekornes* stressless chairs (Patrick has the Admiral and I have a Commodore) and think they are terrific, but this Human Touch chair takes comfort to a whole other level! It is also aesthetically pleasing, which I can not say for so many over stuffed recliners that many people favor. (No offence to you barcalounger lovers out there!) Now I would like to add the electric zero gravity chair to my log cabin wish list. I'm not saying I want to get it right now, but think it would be a grand addition to our living room up in farrr N.Idaho! I guess I'll see if Pat reads my blog by saying this. I'll let you know if he mentions it to me. There are a ton of other things we need to spend our money on before I get involved in furnishings, but I'm just saying....

Cassie - how do you use that cane? Does it vibrate - or have rollers on it? And I love that gravity chair - I need to put it on my cabin list too!

very interesting. I am so sorry you suffer with fibromyalgia. My mom was very debilitated for about 15 yrs. It was so hard to watch her go downhill more every year. I am so grateful to have my mom back now. I pray you find relief!! I will put you on my daily prayer list.

I am also NOT a fan of the big bulky ugly chairs...that new one looks awesome. Hey, if it is comforting for you I don't think it is considered a new chair, but considered NEEDED!!!
I hope you get it. ;)
take care, suz

I'm all for relaxing, which I need to try harder to do. Yoga helps.
Have your doctor write a prescription for the chair and give it to Dr. Pat. :)

Cassie, I love that last chair. I could probably sleep in that one... I've never heard of the cane. I'll have to look it up to see what it does. BUT--luckily, I don't have any trouble relaxing, thank God.

Have a good weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy
