Diane T.,my first cousin once removed, & moi!
At the ASU track. Diane is the one in the black 2-piece.
This is Diane practicing the day before her meet.
After we went out to lunch we stopped by the condo.
Diane met Baby last year, but this was her first encounter with Mr. Hootie!
My cousin Mary's daughter, Diane, runs track for Manhattan College and her team was at ASU for an invitational track meet. The track pics are ones I took last year. The regular photos are from this visit on Saturday. It really tickles me that Diane takes the time out of her schedule to call this old gal so we can get together when she is out here. This year Patrick also got to go out to eat with us and it was a nice visit. We didn't make it over to her meet in the evening, as we were both exhausted. We had taken Hootie and Baby to a Dale meet up earlier in the morning. It was a busy day. Hope your weekend was as eventful as ours! God bless all who pass this way!
love, Cassie

What a pretty girl Diane is! It's pretty obvious that she's in love with Baby Rocket and Hootie! We loved the video!

Hello Cassie, I noticed that you became a follower on my blog. I am honored - truly. But, didn't your mom warn you about followeing strangers?
I enjoyed looking your blog over. I am a Christian too. It is nice to meet you - God bless and stay "tooned."

isn't family like that the greatest? wow, what a sweet girl! Hootie certainly thought so...
Beautiful girl, Cassie. That was nice that you got to see her. I'm sure she loved Hootie as much as Baby...
Have a great day.
Hugs,
Betsy
Looks like Hootie was very happy to meet her. :D Sounds like you had a busy and fun day, Cassie. So glad you got to enjoy her visit.
Hey, how come you two aren't wearing your easter bunny ears in this one? LOL! Can you imagine running around the track with those ears on? :-D
I'll tell Diane to read these comments. I think she's pretty too. Her Grandma, my Auntie Vi, was 1st runner up in the Miss Pennsylvania pagent many moons ago. I mentioned to her that her grandma was beautiful and she said ruefully,"too bad the gene didn't get passed on." I was born with a large dysplastic nevus on my left cheek, and Diane was born with a cleft palate. So, both of us had many trips in & out of the hospital as children, and later as teens.Maybe that's one of the reasons we get on so well with one another despite the 37yr age difference! We both are kind of sarcastic and laugh a lot together. Her granddad would get a kick out of the young lady she has become.
ha ha John. Those ears have had a lot of use, but I think her coach would veto ears on the track...unless there were grayhounds chasing them!
