Bells & Angels
Remember "It's A wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed? Well, here's a little twist to the bells & angel wings thing. This copper rack hangs in my kitchen & the ceiling isn't really high enough for such a rack, but I had Patrick hang it anyway. I'm short, so no problem.....for me. Pat is 6'1", soooooooo.....

Maybe if you put an island or something under the rack your "Angel" won't bump his
head;-) Be good to him, good men are hard to find!
This is so funny! When we hung our rack, we didn't get an island under it for about 6 months...my husband and son were always hitting their heads...the cast iron was the worst! I think this is just beautiful!!
This made me laugh - I LOVE that movie! And that rack is beautiful!

Dot ~ We actually put the rack in the least traveled area of the kitchen. Unfortunately there isn't room for an island. But, fortunately my big ole angel has a very hard head.No joke.When we were dating he went to chop firewood & hit his head.He came back with blood running down his face and had no idea he had this HUGE gash on the top of his head.
Michele ~ Yeah, our rack is kind of useless.We got it at an "antique" auction a few years ago.Supposedly it is an antiquity from what is now Turkey.Since then I have seen pictures of very similar racks---makes me think it was more likely mass produced in modern day Turkey.Oh those Turks!
