Explaining The Pictures From The Last Post

Baby Rocket Dog & I are now at the library for a few minutes so I'll explain yesterdays pictures. The stuffed elephant is a gift I bought for my cousin Mary's daughter, Kayla, at the Libby, MT Nordic Fest. Went to it on Sunday and got all kinds of cool stuff. Baby went with me and she was on her best behavior. The flowers behind the elephant (isn't she cute??) were purchased at our farmer's market Sat. morning for a mere $5. The 2 1/2 ft. moose on our hearth was also bought at the Nordic Fest. Fell in love with him at first sight. The rest of the pics are of our Veteran's Memorial Park here in town. It is a lovely little rest spot next to the library. A few weeks ago someone (hooligans) spray painted on the largest granite memorial with red paint. Some concerned citizens of our town have posted a hefty reward to find the culprits. I hope they're caught. Tomorrow the two "kids" & I are entered in the Canine Capers fun run. A little girl named Maggie will walk with Hootie & I plan on walking with BabyRD. I say 'plan', because I've had some problem with my sciatic nerve and if it acts up I'll be sidelined. Maggie's mom, Tanya, said she'll take over if needed. I hope to get some good pics to share with you all from this event. Last, but not least, will you all keep a friend of ours in prayer? Betty was diagnosed with metastatic malignant melanoma (they do not know where it started) in her throat and now has some spots on her lung. Please pray for her recovery and for her husband, Jim, who is now retired, and who's sun rises and sets with Betty. Jim, Patrick & I all used to work together at the SRP power plant in Phoenix, and he has been a good friend to my hubby. Thanks friends. Be well & remember Who loves you most. love, Cassie

Good Morning Cassie! The picture of the little elephant reminds of the children's story book about "Babar". I must have read it to my son a zillion times. Hope your siatic nerve problem goes away. I will pray for your friend and for you.

Thank you & God bless you all for being prayer warriors. The Canine Capers was so much fun. I didn't take enough pictures. Did several vidoes that are dizzying. I'm using the library computer at the present,as they are just now switching wireless carriers. Mystery solved as to why I couldn't get on. Will post pics when they're switched over. Thanks all.
