"Since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God."

Funny, Sad But True Conan Video!!
You have got to see this youtube video of comedian Louis CK.
For some reason I can't play any videos that are posted on people's blogs. My hubby is going to look at my settings when he comes back from work so hopefully I can try to view this again. Anyways - just wanted to let you know I was here and thinking about Ya! Kiss those pups for me!
I enjoyed this very much. It is so true, I had to stop and think because I might be guilty of this at times, so impatient if something doesn't just work immediately! I watched it with Sean and Jake and we were all laughing!
We used to have a rotary phone when I was growing up. I had forgotten all about how excruciatingly painful it was to dial zero! And I loved the one about "taking a second to come back from space". He's so right though, about the whole entitlement syndrome..it's one of my pet peeves. I must just be getting old! ;-)
Shelley ~ I hope you've gotten the videos to work by now!
Michele ~ Good to see the kids can laugh at themselves. It is SO true though, if only all of the youngsters of today could appreciate the miraculous age they live in.
Suz, I actually heard this played on the radio yesterday on one of my conservative shows I listen to. Funny how these things get around.
John ~ Yes it does. I think you are living a more simple life & it seems you are appreciating life much more than many!
Jen ~ I agree, and on the "muzak" while on hold for making reservations too!! AND in colleges. AND pre-schools. Oh heck, they sould play it as a public service announcement on TV!!
David ~ Thanks for stopping by. Come again and bring a friend!!
John ~ Oh I too remember the dial phone and our phone# was 23411. I remember how my friend was on a partyline and sometimes we could hear someone listening in on us! Yup, we're getting old and I'm even thinking perhaps a tad wiser??

Oh how true that is, Cassie. We are a spoiled, greedy group of people --here in this country.
That video was more sad to me than funny---but as you said, it is SO true.
Hugs,
Betsy
Betsy ~ Agreed!
