Shadow Shot Sunday #135 ~ Melting Snow!

Shadows of Pa & Me
Me & My Shadow (I'm hiding!) A View of Our Shadowy Woods Shadows On Our Shed
Baby Rocket Dog Bowing In The Shadows

A lot of our snow melted this week, and freezing temps coated it with ice. Not too much fun for driving on our very steep and narrow driveway. We're supposed to get a bunch of fresh snow tonight, but today Mr. Sun popped out and afforded us some nice shadows.

For more Shadow Shots please visit Tracy at Hey Harriet. Also, wishing all my friends here in the blogisphere a blessed and happy Christmas.

love & peace, Cassie

Merry Christmas to you too! I love your snow and shadow shots this week. Our county received a lot of ice earlier this week and traffic was a nightmare. Thankfully, we had everything we needed at home!

Your scenery is beautiful. The woods look so peaceful.

NIce shadows on the snow. We don't have any of that white stuff here at the moment.

Thanks for stopping by to peek at my shadow shot today!

Merry Christmas to you and your family, Cassie!

The 'before' and after shot of you and your pa made me laugh! Sorta like now you see it, now you don't kind of thing. You can't be too sad about the snow melting (especially wit a steep driveway).

Oooh I think Baby Rocket needs some little booties for his paws! Great shadows! I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas in Seattle. Christmas in Seattle. Now was that a movie? Oh. No I'm thinking of people being sleepless there. Christmas in Seattle sounds much more fun to me!

Brrrrrrrrr. In snow, I'm a complete wuss!!! If I were that cute little dog, I'd stretch, see the white stuff, turn around and go back indoors in the warmth. LOL

So that means we will be getting it around Monday then huh...it's been so cold here, not a lot of snow, just cold, I'd rather have the cold!
My drive is long and flat, the pits to shovel and easy to get stuck on, but I've lived in the high country, nothing like a good 4-wheel drive truck to make winter a little easier
(I don't have one)!

Enjoy them terriers, looks like Rocket is getting ready to blast off...ha!

Have a wonderful holiday!!!

SHADOW PEOPLE DANCE

The shadow people dance when the sun comes out;
They laugh and they sing and they give a little shout.
But when the sun decides to hide for the night,
Shadow people melt into darkness with affright.

The panhandle is full of snow and ice. However, the mere peek of sun allows for big and beautiful shadows. Winter is almost always cold, so a bit of sun here and there helps warm up the frame - sort of, anyway...

I like these pictures a lot, Cassie. It looks like you guys were having a really fun day. Thank you so much for your message, it lifted me up in a really nice way, I wish I could explain and I wish it lasted longer. You're right, I've burned out, not only on blogging but on life in general. I've been trying to climb back towards the light as best I can. Thank you for the boost, I'm going to post something tonight! (although it might end up being lame and half-hearted, but hey! Better than nothing!) xoxo Have a wonderful holiday and a very Happy New Year!
