These shots of Sand Creek were taken in November before we got pounded with snow. The past few days the weather has been yucky. Rain. Thawing. Freezing. Black ice. We got so much snow prior to the rain that there is still a lot of snow here at the cabin. Only problem is that it's now not even good snowball or snowman snow. Just slippery, hard, 4-wheel drive snow. Sheesh!!
For a look at the Shadow Shots gallery, slide on over to Hey Harriet. But, don't slip & fall!!
Blessings to all who pass this way. love, Cassie

Great shadow shots, Cassie! Loved seeing the reflections of the sky in the water. Have a happy day!
I love those reflections - nice!
Lovely, moody reflections/shadows for the day! It does look cold! Hope you have a great weekend! Stay warm!

Gorgeous reflections!! We have had a sudden thaw, so everywhere is dripping! Unfortunately, more bad weather is forecast - I'm threatening to emigrate!!
The land and water in the Gem State is quite wonderful. Yes, the water is cold, but I am able to imagine the place in the summer where the cool water refreshes. The gray, cold, snow and rain are not pleasant, yet the beauty of the day cannot be denied!
i agree, these shots are beautifully moody!
Don't wanna talk about it, I white-knuckled it all the way home from work on a thin layer of ice, 25 mph, but, no snow yet!!! Knock on wood!
Beautiful shots!
What gorgeous shots - of reflections and shadows!
Lovely! Although the water does look cold...
I really like these! I agree with Paula about the water looking very cold! I hope your weather improves this week. Keep warm!
Very beautiful watery scenes reflecting the sky!

You are so right, all things in life are but lessons and yet here and there are some ifs and buts....
Apologies totally unnecessary, I appreciated your comment and was touched and rather flattered by your honesty. Thank you.
