Beautiful sunset sky and lovely shadows.
Amazing skies! Although it is a holiday weekend here, it isn't a Memorial Weekend ..... we honour our War Dead in November, on Remembrance Day.
With views like that, I'm not sure I'd ever leave the deck!
I ALMOST LOST MY SHADOW
I almost lost my shadow,
I left it in the park;
I heard my mommy calling,
For it was getting dark;
She has no use for shadows,
She thinks they are quite grim,
And when she saw my shadow,
She thought it was a “him.”
I had to educate her
And tell her it was “she’
And now my faithful shadow
Is welcome as can be!

Boy, have we had some gorgeous sunsets here as well, as the spring storms ramble through, making it rather difficult to weed the garden, but there's always tomorrow...right!!!

In response to your comment on my blog about lack of commenting from SSS players: I'm sorry this is happening Cassie, and I'm afraid I'm guilty of not commenting of late due to being really busy at the moment. I do miss catching up with all my blog buddies, but sometimes other stuff just gets in the way. So perhaps this is the reason others don't always comment as well. And of course there are those who just don't ever comment, for whatever reason. Maybe they're shy. Or maybe it's just something they choose not to do. It is unfortunate, as these blog memes are all about connecting with other bloggers but they don't always happen that way. I really enjoy and appreciate your participation in SSS and the time you take to leave comments for so many others, so I am sorry that your comments are not always returned.
