This week I have been purchasing and planting lots of flowers and veggies in my many containers. I love doing this, but the skin on my hands is a mess. Oh, and I've also picked up a fungus, ringworm, from somewhere. Probably from the ground. Sheesh. Well, at least my pooches haven't caught it. OH, back to my Shadow Shots! My only granddaughter's name is Viola, so I like to have some pretty little violas around every summer. Whenever I look at them I am reminded of her. I like that.
For more Shadow Shot Sunday photos, or to join in the shadowy fun, go visit our hostess, Tracy, at HeyHarriet. You'll be glad you did.
Blessings on the heads of all who pass this way. Have a great weekend.
love, Cassie

Cassie, I love these shadows today and what a beautiful name your granddaughter has!
Viola- such a pretty plant and what a lovely reminder of your grand daughter-bet she loves the fact you do this ! interesting shots ! hope your ringworm heals quickly-do you have any cattle horses near you ?
Janet, Horses are down the road. I don't really go near them though...But Hootie did get into their corral a week ago. The dogs are both clean though. I took them to the vet on Tues. and they're good.
Clever shadow shots! Love them. Ah yes it's time to get in the garden that's for sure, so why am I sitting here writing on your blog instead? :D
I love that you have that kind of flower because it has the same name as your daughter. Neat shadows today, Cassie. :)
Hi Cassie, It's great to hear from you. Hope you two are doing fine. Are you all in Idaho or Arizona????? Hope you are enjoying Idaho now--or will be soon!!!
Great shadow pictures... There are always shadows all around us --and most of the time we don't know it... Love the name Viola.
Hugs,
Betsy
You're good at getting interesting shadow shots! Beautiful name for your granddaughter!
I wish I was named Viola. :)
If you are growing plants and having them shadow on your arms...does that mean you have a green arm?
I will send you some gardening gloves....eww with the ring worm.

Beautiful shadow shots, very creative!
Shadow shots on a relaxing walk, have a great weekend!
The artist is participating in her art. Which is perfectly acceptable! Sorry about the skin issues - prayer and the hope of healing will keep you going. Your granddaughter is a wonderful joy for her grandmother - the flowers are a beautiful reminder of her!
Oh Cassie...ring worm doesn't sound fun - on the bright side - the violas are super cute...and we love those shadows on your arm - very fun!!
Sending blessing back at ya!!

Love to Viola and your little violas.
have a happy week, and thanks for dropping by the blog.
I love the way you lead with your arm to the violas...a path of shadows! (maybe that's like breadcrumbs..)
Blessings to you, also!
What fun shadows!! I'm glad you provided the last shot so we could see what created them. Eww on the fungus...hope you get rid of it soon!
Oh...and I meant to say I think the name Viola is beautiful!
very interesting and beautiful shadow shots
Your newly planted plants will be such a great reward in no time at all that will last you throughout the summer!
That's a great shot, sorry to hear abour the ringworm, nasty! You asked to see some of my art. Try on my blog page scroll down & hit 'My digital art' or hit one of the images in Flickr.
Great photos. Love your shadow shots.
Great shadow shot. So cute!
Creative shots. I like them.
Cassie girl I love your capture of these gorgeous violas! How sweet that they will always remind yo of your granddaughter ! .. You asked how it came to be that we have a chickadee couple in our garden .. I had this little birdhouse on a garden stake for years in the back garden .. I never thought any birds would actually use it for nesting .. but we were so amazed to see the couple bring moss and bits of grass etc .. to make it comfortable inside to nest in .. I think have a source of water (solar powered birdbath/fountain) and lots of bugs of course because a garden just has to have them ? LOL .. and so there they were taking up residence .. we have seed feeders for Goldfinches and have many different birds visiting .. but this is a first for a nesting chickadee couple and we are so happy to see that happening!
Joy : )
Thats a really cool shadow! Great work with your camera.
Thanks for all your nice comment:-)
Wish you blessed days, hugs from Tania
