Little Hootie hogs the piece of sunlight that entered our loft.  Baby Rocket Dog is relegated to the shadows.

Little Hootie has a good idea to soak up that sun. Sounds good to me too! ha! Nice shots, Cassie. Have a great weekend. :)

You always have such interesting shadow shot pictures!!!

Hootie and Rocket have the best of all possible worlds - the chill of autumn is in the neighborhood yet they sleep in the warmth of the sun. Cold, heat and fur - what a life!!

Such fun shots, Cassie! Little Hootie and Rocket do indeed have the best of all possible worlds! Sam Schnauzer is so jealous of the sunshine -- he's not even sure what it is anymore! Hope you all of you have a great weekend with lots more sun!

I wouldn't mind being in those shadows!

SHADOW, SHADOW
(With apologies to William Blake)

Shadow, shadow lurking dark
In a corner of the park,
What immortal eye can see
Your transcendent symmetry?

The sun doesn't seem to bother them. Must not get in their eyes. Great shots!

Awww... I love when pups help out with shadow shots. We use to have a beagle-mix that would always hog the patch of sunshine.

Lovely fun shadows! Years ago when we had a spaniel, she would follow the sun as it moved round the house .... or she would lie on the bit of floor which was heated by the central heating pipes passing just under the floorboards!
