Shadow Shot Sunday #176

This sweet little acorn lid was once the cover for a sugar bowl.  After I dropped it, it now just decorates outside our cabin...Just couldn't throw it out!  Patrick drilled a hole in the sugar bowl & it now holds a plant.

For more Shadow Shots please check out our hostess, Tracy's blog, Hey Harriet.  It's such fun!
love, Cassie

FOR LOVE OF SHADOW

Tell your shadow that you love her,
Spurn your shadow, if you dare.
Keep your shadow out of darkness,
Keep her in the sun’s harsh glare!

Sugar bowl sets are so overrated - who needs the bowl when neat things like acorns sit on the lid. This decoration stands alone now, and is cool - both subject and shadow!

What a cool shadow! You won't believe this, but I have the EXACT, I repeat, EXACT same oilcloth on my patio table. EXACT, I say!

Cool shots! And a great recycling use for that lid. Show us the plant some time. I also like the blue cloth. Is that oil cloth? Nice lively pattern.

Peace

No Chipmunks that I know of have tried to tote it off Joated! We do have plenty of them around here though, so I'll have to keep an eye out. hehe.

It's just hard to throw things that we love away. Glad you thought of a good way to use it. Nice post. Mickie :)

What fun! Isn't that funny when we can't let go of something...it's because we know it will keep a smile on our face?!! Have a great week Cassie!!

I hate it when I break stuff...unless it's on purpose.
