Shadow Shot Sunday #163 ~Schweitzer Summer Fest

Last Saturday Patrick and I (along with BabyRocketDog and HOotie) went up to Schweitzer Mountain for their Summer Fest.  Even though it was now summer, it was C-o-L-D on top of the mountain.  We took the chair lift to the summit and there was even still snow on top!  When the sun shone through, there were gorgeous shadows of clouds.  I got Patrick's shadow pointing to another mountain, and this sweet little white pooch waving hello to me in the village.

For more ShadowShots from around the globe, visit our hostess, Tracy, at Hey Harriet. Hope you all are having a good weekend. Blessings.
love,
Cassie

What a pleasant array of shadows!

SHADOW, BE TRUE

My shadow has come out to play.
Oh, shadow, please don’t run away!
Stay here by my side,
Pretend you’re my bride—
Be true to me now and alway!

Ah, snow adds a wonderful artistry to any shadow. Given that it was not too long ago we were tired of the unusually snowy winter, then we complained. We now complain about heat and humidity - so the snow is now welcomed!

The dog says "pay attention to me, mommie" or something like that. Such winsome looks make us smile :)

Happy July 4!!

What an irresistible pooch!! That middle shot is very cool-I mean, in the cool sense of the word-not temperature!

Happy July 4th weekend, Cassie. Thanks for your visit/comments. I have not been lucky enough to get any shadow shots lately. Sounds like you and Patrick and the doggies had a good time last Sat. Love the shadows. Have a safe and nice day tomorrow!

Hard to imagine anywhere being cold right now with the heat we've been having.

It's amazing how cool the temperature can be at the top of a mountain! Neat shadows.
