Shadow Shot Sunday #146

Pulling from my archives, this is a shot from the car on The Piestewa Freeway (AZ State Route 51) that I took in February. No new camera yet. I'm still mourning the passing of my old favorite. I hate change in some areas of my life...didn't know that about myself, but now I do. Oh well, I guess I'm an old fuddy duddy now.

For new Shadow Shots why not visit our hostess and friend Tracy at Hey Harriet? You'll be glad you did! Blessings to all who pass this way.
love, Cassie

The fence on the overpass leaves a complex shadow mesh falling underneath the passing vehicles. Which makes this a cool shot indeed!

The new camera will never replace the departed one - if only for a little while. A time of bonding will work wonders with the relationship with the new one...

Great shadow!

How fortunate that you have archives to pull from whilst you grieve the loss of your camera!
Well, I hope that when you do get a new one, that you are quite pleased with it!

That is a cool shot Cassie. Sometimes change is good...but not when it comes to something we LOVE. :(

Nice shot from your archives. An old fuddy duddy? You and me both! I quite like routine the older I get and when a fave thing breaks on me I tend to try and replace it with the exact same model! So yeah, I'm not big on change in many areas of my life either :)

Have a great week Cassie and I hope you'll find a replacement camera that you're happy with!

That makes two of us then...being fuddy duddies...I don't like change much either.

I like your archival photo you chose for the day.

Interesting shadow from the railing.

Hoping you get your new camera soon. Nice to have old photos to draw from, though.

For somebody who is in a fast and changing industry (computer biz), I'm a fuddy duddy. I hate change too.

I have always been fond of shadow photos, so loved this one.

Sorry I have been so remiss in not reading and commenting, life and not feeling well has kinda got on top of me just lately. I cannot wait for this horrible, long and seemingly never ending winter to finish.

I am beginning to think about my allotment this weekend, but the snow falling kinda stopped any of my lovely plans.
