Shadow Shot Sunday #144 ~ Seven Mile Gulch Trail

Baby Rocket Dog, our Airedale Terrier and Hairy "Hootie" Houdini, our Welsh Terrier. What are YOU lookin' at?? Yep, I'm bringing up the rear. Come on Mommy! You're holding us up with all this picture taking!
On Valentine's Day we hiked around the Prescott (Arizona) National Forest on the Seven Mile Gulch Trail. There were plenty of shadows all over, so as the dogs sniffed their way around the trail I snapped some ShadowShots. For more Shadow Shot Sunday photographers, hike on over to Tracy's blog. And just click HERE to join in the new meme, Pet Pride. Have a good weekend!
Blessings,
Cassie
ps-We are told they are having snow there now!

It looks so warm and sunny! A great day for a walk, as your pics show.
We have had sun (it's shining right now!) but the warm part is missing.
Well, complaining is a sin, so I am thankful for the sun and praying for some warm!

I love Prescott and the surrounding area and I'm happy to learn about Seven Mile Gulch Trail. Thank you! (Guess where my next hike will take me?)

A PARFAIT DAY

A seeker of shadows one day
Did trip as she went on her way;
She picked herself up
And dipped from a cup
Of shadowy lemon parfait!

Rocket and Houdini leave furry shadows as they scamper among the central AZ. They should be happy is taking pictures of the memories - thus the cute doggies of these days can show pictures to their grandpups...

Beautiful shadows!

Looks like a lovely spot to stroll around on Valentine's Day. The dogs appear to be enjoying themselves, despite having to wait for mummy to finish her picture taking! I remember my dog getting quite frustrated with me on our walks for the same reason. Enjoy the rest of your weekend Cassie :)

I ♥ Arizona....lived there, in Tucson, for a little over 10 years. What a treat for you to take us with you on your hike. Now, I must ask, do you pronounce it Preskit, or PresSCOT? Me, I say Preskit. There are so many others who would disagree with me.

I hate to tell ya, but when you own a terrier, you are always bringin' in the rear...and they just get so impatient when you're taking pictures.

Thunderstorms this morning, but me and the heathen got to chase the stick this afternoon...great sport!!!
