"Since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God."

Shadow Shot Sunday #142 ~ A Road Less Traveled
Do you imagine that the Montana road crew who painted these lines was completely sober?? Or, perhaps the painter had the hiccups! For more exciting Shadow Shots go visit Tracy at Hey Harriet.
Oh, how funny!! Having raised my family in Montana, I can believe this! What a hoot1 I love it! And your shadow shots are terrific, too!! Hope you have a lovely weekend, Cassie!
Another possibility: the painter was irritated with his boss, so he purposely painted the lines crooked.
SILLY SHADOW DITTY
Shadows may or may not be Patterns of urbanity. If a shadow threatens you, Here, my dear, is what to do: Grab the shadow by the throat, Toss it to a billy goat, So the goat can chomp and chew, Keeping it away from you!
The road crew added a whimsical style to the double yellow lines. Since you are in AZ, perhaps the stripes could be painted like this in order of the rattlesnakes crawling through the Sonoran desert...
Funny! A long time ago, driving a country road, I saw the officially painted "Smoke" "Idaho" "Green!" I can imagine that the paint crew thought it was hilarious!
Cassie girl TOO FUNNY ! maybe a combination of a little hot sauce and hiccups ? haha .. we always remark on what could the situation be when we see something like this .. I wonder if the road crew knows how entertaining they can be ?? Joy : )
Hmmm. I'm thinking the road may have been bumpy. (I'm giving the workers the benefit of the doubt...I haven't a clue why as you are probably correct about them having had too much to drink.)
im not an expert on the weather in montana...but generally this happens in very hot weather..the bitumen/asphalt on the roads semi melt and become runny..so the white/yellow marker lines painted on them become runny too and when the cool off...this is the result..i have seen it happen in my city during the peak summer season...

Chiseled Shadows
The squiggly yellow lines are hilarious! And love the play of shadows round them too!

Hard to get help these days...though living in Montana, one might be easily distracted...ha! Hope you're having a great time!
So funny.
Looks like something I would do!!
Lovely post.;)
Great shot, for the shadows and the wonky lines. Have a great weekend Cassie :)

Hehe. Yup, It's route 508,the back road to Rexford, Montana, up the Yaak. A beautiful drive, but you better have a tank full of gas!!
Hi Cassie, How funny... It does look like someone had a little too much of something to drink that day!!!!! ha
Hugs,
