Shadow Shot Sunday

These are 2 shots of some windows at our daughter & SIL's place in Seattle. I slept in their living room while there and had to get out my camera for this nifty night time shadow. The shot below is what it looked like with my flash on.
This cute little kiddo is C2's daughter M2 when she was a mere 9 year old. Her 11th birthday was Sept.27th so I thought I would share these shadow shots I took while visiting them for a gymnastics review in Tucson the beginning of 2009. It's amazing how quickly they grow up. I'm kind of M2's surrogate granny...or maybe her fun old auntie!!

Those nighttime shadows are mysterious, and quite cool! The way a little bit of light changes the complexion of the scene a lot - and lots of light does, too. Cool!

M2 is adorable and deserves a happy birthday from her auntie!

Eleven is an exciting age. The whole world starts to open up, and before you know it she'll be 18. I hope you get lots of aunting opportunities before then. LOL

Hi Cassie, I am sorry about the pictures not showing up, and this is a problem that others in the UK are experiencing. Perhaps you can send your e-mail to me (via mine in profile) and I can forward the photos to you.

Blogging should not be frustrating but fun - mostly it is...

The difference between the first two shots is amazing! I must prefer the first one. It's kind of haunting...

I'm sure that sweet little gymnast loves having you as her fun auntie!

I hope you have a great week Cassie :)

Amazing there is such a contrast when you use the flash. Love the top photo. It's rather spooky, just in time for Halloween.

Your little gymnast is adorable!

Thanks for visiting me. Enjoy your week.
