Color ~ Week 4 ~ Green!

Here is a mish-mash of green things. The peas in a pod really cracked me up. I was a vegetarian for 30 some years, but never would have thought to march in a parade to advertise it! The scenic photo is of the twin rivers north of us. In real-life it is breath taking. I honestly cried when I saw it the first time. The view was so amazing. My water grown Daffodils have since been transplanted to the dirt and I'm afraid the African Violet might be on it's last legs. I've never had good luck with them, but for some reason can't stop trying. The green container Jess is pointing to holds one of my favorite sugar ladened treats, Hawaiian shave ice. Can only get that at the county fair. Yum. The mint julep soap at Sandpoint farmer's market looked good enough to eat too...hmmm seems that maybe I'm hungry now!!

Happy Green Monday to you Cassie--
Lots more green up north there than in AZ I'm sure.
Ha! that soap sure does look like a nice sugary treat.
Have a great week

Hi Cassie-
I see I missed at least one laugh by missing the parade, and I've seen that soap display, it is really tempting!
I shared that ad you put on FB, it's great!

They sell that Hawaiian shaved ice every where here now. Since it's so hot in MS, it draws a good business.

I bet that soap smells wonderful.

Thanks for coming by and catching up on my blog.

What a great green mish mash!!!!
I have the same issue with African violets; my grandma grew them so wonderfully, so I never quit trying!
Happy Monday Cassie.

Those are great examples of green. A little bit of everything! Did the soap smell minty? I also have problems with African Violets. I know you're supposed to water them from the roots up, but I always slip and water the dirt. So begins my downfall..

I like your green post, Cassie! I've seen a few scenic spots that brought tears too. Nature can be pretty inspiring and breath-taking some times. Happy Monday to you! :)

Great green post! I love the variety of pictures. I thought the green soap was rice krispie treats dyed green! lol

I bet taking a shower with the mint julep soap would be so refreshing. You're right, it does look good enough to eat!

Good collection of green, and they all seem meaningful to you, which is really neat.

water grown daffodils! you need to tell me more about those some time - I've never heard of any thing like that before.

I think if that soap had have been around when my kids were little there would have been some frothing mouths!

I like your 'green' mosaic. I've never seen vegetarians march in a parade before. The river view is gorgeous.

Love your green mash-up there, Cousin Cass! I had no idea (well, I think I did, but probably forgot) that you've been a vegetarian for so long. I am not, but am close to it. All the photos were great to see. Hope you and Patrick have a great Labor Day weekend! ~ Cousin John
