My nasturtium planter. These are edible, so am anxious for it to flower!
Here I have 3 types of lettuce, parsley, onions & a marigold(which supposedly will fend off certain insects). I put a little iron bunny in here too. Can you see him peering over the side of the pot?
This is a little grouping of Rosemary, Lavender and Tumbling Tom Tomato.
These are a few of the things I have planted the past few weeks. I have a lot of pictures of my other containers to regale you with, but I'm posting these particular ones because I dolled up the containers they are in. Notice the raffia, lady bugs and did I say raffia?! I hope LL Cool Joey sees these, as all the bling and decorating that he does inspired me. (Even if in a small, less blingy way!)

Nice touch with the raffia decorations. They'll probably grow faster now!
They look like they are doing well, Cassie. I planted some flower seeds not too long ago, but I think the darn squirrels went along behind me and ate them all! Hope you're having a good week. :)
You reminded me I bought some nasturtium seeds that I still need to plant!
Thanks! I just planted them!
Hi Cassie, I love the bling of these containers! I also love your deck! Many years ago, I grew nasturtiums and they are such pretty little flowers. Hope you have a lovely weekend. I'm hoping to join in with Shadow Shots this week. (that is if I don't melt in the heat!!!)
Beautiful plants, Cassie.... Looks like you have done a great job of your planting.... Isn't it wonderful to see things grow which we have planted?????? LOVE it.
Love that video on your sidebar, When It's All Been Said and Done... Gorgeous.
Hugs,
Betsy
A couple of weeks and those pots will look gorgeous-love the ladybug and rafia too ! xx
Haha, sorry I just got here. Real life gets in the way sometimes!
I love your containers, and thought the lady bugs look great! I'm so glad I inspired you to get creative and bling up your pots! They look so good!
The bright coloured pots are really the "in thing" now aren't they? Adding immediate colour to your garden.
Thanks for the shout out too!
I adore nasturtiums, flowers to look at that is! I have always some planted in the summer months, tough little things too, Can withstand any amount of drought and poor soil.I have never eaten them though, but one of our big stores here, Marks and Spencers - of which I am a committed customer LOL - are now doing ready prepared salads with the nasturtiums flowers already mixed in. J x Ps I love the way you have "tarted" up your containers (not sure if tarted is a familiar word to the US) it is a slang word here to mean "decorated" nothing rude!!
I too like putting little ornamental animals amongst the pots and plants. I have a delightful green frog gracing one of mine at the moment. Jxx
particularly like the raffia decoration, I must give this a go, an unusual but effective way of "tarting" up a pot.
J xx
These are very cute plantings Cassie girl .. I am an "herb-aholic" and usually plant too many pots .. I swore I would keep them down this year .. but .. they creep in some how? .. love the special touches to brighten them up : )
