Shadow Shot #149 ~ The Super Moon

Last weekend was the "super moon". The night it was to be the brightest Phoenix had cloud cover so we couldn't even see it! Luckily, I took this photo with Patrick's camera the night before. The moon was pretty cool that night and I captured some shadows too.
For more Shadow Shots go visit our Aussie hostess, Tracy at Hey Harriet. Hope you're all having a good weekend. I'm getting over some sort of flu, so am resting up!

The "tresses" on the trees remind me of Macbeth's hags out on the moor, stirring their witchy brew!

WONDERING WHY

Said Shadow, “I do wonder why,
When there is no sun in the sky,
I must disappear;
I’d like to stay here
And never again say good-bye!”

Excellent photo! I was in and out last Saturday trying to see the super moon, but by the time it had risen enough for us to see it, it just looked like any other moon!! Hope tou are feeling better, Anne x

The nighttime shadows are unique, and we often miss them. Yet, to obtain shadows from a brilliant moon is so cool. The moon sits over a lovely abode, calling to attention the brilliance of the land and sky. A lovely view!

Love your shadow this week Cassie! Too bad it was too cloudy to see the brightest night thought - bummer...but isn't that the way it works sometimes?!! Sure hope that you are feeling better - keep resting :)

It was too cloudy to get a decent shot here, too. I like the way the moon is framed by the branches there.

Hope you feel better!

Hey, hey!!! So happy that you found me back. I'm still trying to touch base with all my old favorite bloggers!!

I love your shadow shots, and never knew there was such a thing. Now I have a whole new way to screw up my pictures! I can't take good pictures, and actually my best shots are with my phone's camera.

My following avatar on your blog doesn't seem to be working properly, so if you see 2 of me on your list of followers it's because I'm trying to redo it again to see if it works. Sorry!
