Shadow Shot Sunday #193 ~ Seating Shadows

It's time for our Shadow Shots once again.  I decided to pick a theme this week, so delved into my photo archives for all the chair shadows I could find. Even the dullest appearing chair or seating arrangement can cast an interesting shadow it seems.  The bottom photo was actually taken automatically by my husband's game-cam which I had placed on the floor at the cabin. I have several interesting shots that were taken that way...All of the dogs in various poses, initiating the automatic shutter.  This week Miss Gemma is our hostess with the mostess.  To get to the host blog, just click HERE.  Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend.  Blessings on your head!
love,
Cassie

The intricate shadow patterns in the first and fourth photos are wonderful! And the other softer, broader shadow shapes create a sense of calmness in the photo! Fascinating!

All of these chairs leave excellent shadows - although for one to actually sit on these, sans cushion, would not be all that comfortable. But cushions would not leave as lovely a shadow. Comfort vs. art - which to choose??

What a great variety of chair shadows! I don't know that I can pick a favorite from them so I won't even try. We'll just leave it at "they're all wonderful". :)

Wow, what a neat series. I have some truly wonderful chair shadows myself. But no sunshine right now to make any photos from. Ah well, sun will appear, eventually. Now the sound of the rain is great, but hard to photograph!

Cassie this is a great way to display SSS Day ! The sun has not been out here in the north much so it is a scramble to catch a shadow!

I love the entire grouping of images you've shared of shadows. I think my favorite would be the wrought iron patio furniture.

Hi Cassie, Great shadow shots.... Today we were at Biltmore and were trying to get the perfect shots of the orchids in the Conservatory---with the sun (not the shadows) in the perfect place...

But--sometimes (like your post), the shadows are GREAT.... Thanks for sharing.
Hugs,
Betsy
