Shadow Shot #190 ~ Snowman Shadows in The Valley of The Sun

It's always warm here in Phoenix but that didn't stop us from putting our snowman outside for the holidays.  He helps me to think cool while here, so I might keep him up 'til we leave!

Blessings on all who pass this way.

I like your "cool thoughts" to leaving him up despite the warm climate. :)

The snowpersons are living on the edge as they venture outside in the desert world of Phoenix. Who doesn't like snowmen?? Of course, take him to Flagstaff or and the snowy landscape at 7000 ft, up North, and he can get a taste of where the big snowguys live...I'd take some of your weather although up here it was 60°F today. No matter where, 'tis the season!

You had me going there for a sec, wondering how you got a snowman. Heh. Nice pics!

Arizona snowmen make especially nice shadows!

A SHADOW THE SIZE OF THE SUN

If I had a shadow the size of the sun,
I’m not sure how fast I’d be able to run,
Or if I could flee from its ravenous jaws,
While keeping away from its razor-sharp claws!

Even snowmen make great shadows. I am surprised it ever gets cool there.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of the sun, I fear no snowman.

Your little snowman is a realy cutie Cassie! I'm intrigued by the second photo though as his shadow appears as though he's not wearing a hat. Did it fall off mid-shoot?

I hope you're enjoying your weekend!

Perfect shadow to help keep you cool.
I always think Phoenix has perfect weather this time of year.
Enjoy your week ahead.

Cassie girl I love your snowman : )
He makes me want to squeeze his little white cheeks !
The weather in the "great white north" is not normal at all .. no snow on the ground and way too warm .. makes me nervous, but this shadow play makes me smile : ) Thanks!

That bright sun is such a contrast for a snowman!
