Shadow Shot Sunday #187 ~ Roses For Tracy

Dedicating this Shadow Shot to our Australian hostess, Tracy, who is turning over the reigns for SSS to new administrators after today's post.  She's been a wonderful hostess since Shadow Shots inception in May 2008, and we'll miss her.  But, she assures us that she will now be free to "just post" like the rest of us shadow shooters!  Welcome to retirement Tracy, and THANK YOU for all you have done these 3 1/2 years!! These roses are for you.   And, welcome to whomever our new hosts will be.  For one final time, please go to our hostess, Tracy's place to check out who the other shadow shooters are.
love,
Cassie

The roses are a wonderful gift, a fragrant arrangement that appeals to many senses. A thoughtful gift, acknowledgement that someone is special. A fine expression of the fun blog Tracy has meant. Happily the shadowy fun continues!

Like your new header - but am unsure if the intrepid canine traveler is Hootie or Rocket. Whichever, their view from the front seat must be great!

The roses are lovely, the shadows even lovelier!

MANY SHADOW-SEEKERS SAY

Many shadow-seekers say,
“Oh, the one that got away!”

Why are you so uptight, folks?
Can’t you take light’s little jokes?

That's Hootie on the masthead Ralph.
These are 3 different types of rose. The big one lasted over 2 weeks! It was huge, but had no smell. The smaller, single rose in the front smelled divine!! My buddy Gail gave them all to me from their rose garden a few weeks ago.(One advantage to living in Phx in the winter.) They used to grow roses to show. Now it's just for their own pleasure.

Oh shucks! Thanks so much Cassie! I adore my roses! I'm imagining them on my dining table! You're so sweet! I hope you're having a lovely weekend and the cold temps haven't been too icky. Or maybe it's not that cold yet?

Retirement. Hehe! Wish I could retire from my day job! How lovely that would be! Although I should count myself lucky that I have a job. Sadly many are not that fortunate. xo
