Shadow Shot Sunday #183 ~ At The Cabin

We'll be heading down south soon, so I thought I'd post some shots from our cabin.  The top photo is our woods from one of the loft windows.  The second photo, of a newly delivered cord of wood, was shot from the the deck.  (Patrick has since quartered all that wood!)  The 3rd photo is a couple of my snowmen, resting next to our little sofa.  Finally, the last shot was taken by my buddy, Maria, when she was visiting in September.  Now there is at least a foot of snow covering the ground.  I hope to get some shadows resting on the white, fluffy stuff for some parting shots!
Now, if you've never visited the Shadow Shot Gallery before, you can get there by going to our hostess Tracy's blog, Hey Harriet.  She's in sunny Australia, so it's already Sunday there.  Blessings to all who pass this way.  Hoping all my friends have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
love, Cassie

It's been a long time since I've had a woodpile, but they make the most amazing places for shadows to play hide-and-seek!

I HAVE A LITTLE SHADOW

I have a little shadow that always follows me;
My shadow is my best friend, as anyone can see.

No matter where my feet go, my shadow’s always there—
Except, of course, at midnight with darkness everywhere!

The land in your Gem State panhandle i s so full of woods, and your cabin beautiful. I hoe you locked the place up well before your trek to AZ otherwise the local moose might move in for the winter. Nobody but the moose want that!

And happy Thanksgiving to you, also! My husband is out clearing snow at the moment, some of it is knee deep! And to think that a week ago there was none at all!

Haha! Waving right back at you Cassie! Your cabin looks so romantic and dreamy. What I'd give to have a little cabin in the woods far far away from everything! I'm so envious! Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)
