Shadow Shot Sunday #182 ~ Our Moose

We named our place Smiling Moose Point.  Guess why!  Here is a young cow, not cowering in the shadows.  When "our" moose come visiting, Hootie, our little  Welsh Terrier, goes nuts.  He barks and wants to get outside so badly.  Baby Rocket Dog, our Airedale Terrier, is much calmer.  Perhaps a bark, then she finds a quiet place to hide.

For more Shadow Shots visit our hostess, Tracy.  She's at Hey Harriet.  Blessings on all who pass this way.
love, Cassie

Hootie and Rocket would soon realize that this play date with said moose would not be too much fun - I guess that the canine adventures are more fun in their imaginations...a moose seems to be a big visitor, and this is merely a cow - the bull might be more frightening. Moose must be a sight in the north wilds of the Gem State!

"Smiling Moose Point" - nice!

My daughters' cats go nearly berserk when the neighborhood moose come around. Great picture you've taken, there.

What a fun shadow shot for the day! I love the moose! I'm quite sure that Sam Schnauzer would go nuts if he saw one! Hope you all have a great weekend, Cassie!

I don't know that I would want one turning up in the garden - but it does make a super photo!!

Wow now that's a sight you don't see in the UK! I've never seen a moose in real life, I don't think. Great shot!

If she comes around often enough, you'll have to name her!

SHADOW, SHADOW

Shadow, shadow, if I could,
I would meet you in the wood,
Where the frenzied fairies play
In the blazing light of day.

But, dear shadow, I dare not
Go to that secluded spot,
For I fear the woodland path
And what’s more, the fairies’ wrath!

So adore the name of your place! Such a happy name! And love the scene in this photo with the moose almost looking as if he is surveying his domanin!

Great shot of the moose. Is she smiling?

;-) Just wondering.

Our kitty cat would be under the bed in no time if he saw this moose.

How cool! Great shot, Cassie. I think I'd be a little nervous with a moose in my back yard! :-)

Enjoy your Sunday!

Oh my! That's certainly a large visitor, even if still young.

I'm surprised Baby Rocket Dog doesn't want to jump in there with Hootie to "get it". Our little terrier mix (about 25 pounds) thinks she can take on anything! Our other five dogs are at least twice her size or larger and she still thinks she's top dog. (she's actually at the bottom of the pack) It's embarassing how she behaves in the waiting room at the vet's.

Enjoyed this shot!
