Shadow Shot Sunday # 174 ~ Grand Shadows!

I shot both of these shadowy photos of my only grandchildren in 2002.  The little, pouty superman at top is now 12 years old.  This picture has always been a favorite of mine, probably because he usually always had a smile on his face!  The daring, darling PopPop back-walker is now 14 years old and a beautiful young lady.  Everyone has aged quite a bit (including my cutie-pie hubby!) since then.
For more Shadow Shots go see our hostess at Hey Harriet!  Blessings on the heads of all who pass this way.
love, Cassie

IT's lovely to have these to look back on - and to see the delightful young people they have grown into. Great shots for SSS this week!

Grandshadows are the best shadows of all!

MY SHADOWY FRIEND

My shadow and I are very best friends;
We walk hand in hand, though the sidewalk ends.

No matter the time of day or of night,
My shadow and I will always stick tight.

We don’t even think of drifting apart,
For shadow and I are one soul and one heart.

To have such a friend is heaven, you see,
For I love my shadow, and shadow loves me.

You have to re define the term 'aged' - I prefer 'more experienced' myself :)

The grand shadows are no doubt even better looking in the preceding nine years. Yet their very being was shaped by the grandparent somewhat, as we see in their expressions back then. The importance of your values has helped them well. Have a great week!

I must look out a photo I have from years ago .... I am perched on the kitchen worktop, so that it looks like Stuart (I think he was 4 or 5) in his Superman outfit looks as if he if holding me up!!

ps - if you ever do venture abroad, then there is a bed here for you!!

Aw, your grandchildren are so cute in these photos. It's nice that you have one of each. ;-)

Time has a way of passing us by when we're not looking! It goes fast, that's for sure.

Hope you have a fun week shadow seeking.
