I love your Shadow Shots. I have never seen flowers hanging from a lamp post, but it sure makes a Great shadow. Plus it looks neat too. And, that yellow car is cool especially with the clearly defined shadow of a tree being cast upon it. Thanks for sharing!!

warm day full of sun is always to savor! In the northern wilds of the Gem State, the winters are lonoong! So enjoy the sun, and especially the shadows. I like the hanging planter that adds to the street below - and on top of the Corvette (1957?) too. Stockpile all these beauties, we await them all!

The yellow car looks as though its sporting a tattoo!

I ONCE HAD A SHADOW

I once had a shadow—or did she have me?
My shadow and I could never agree.
I would say something, she’d say the reverse;
Our arguments flared, my lips I would purse,
Refusing to speak to her anymore—
So my shadow got up and marched out the door!
I have not seen her from that day to this—
That’s one stubborn shadow I surely don’t miss!

That shadow on the car is so cool! As is the car itself! Is it yours Cassie? The other white car/little truck to the left looks cool too! Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

Lovely...great shadows. But I must tell you, I was so very intrigued by your D Day photo of your father on your sidebar. What he could tell us. History, first hand.

Vintage 1930's Basketball Team is my Shadow Shot today. Do stop by if you can find time.

Happy Sunday!!!

Not much sun here in Iowa today, but that doesn't concern me anymore, cause it's SUMMER and I'm enjoying every inch of it!!!

Love the Amish built cabins, they built my shop/garage and my chicken coop...would love to have a log home, but not on the 4-lane I live near...out in the sticks with no neighbors...right!!!

Have a great Sunday!

Nice pictures, Cassie! I had to look at the one of the hanging flowers for a minute to figure out what it was a shadow of! :-)

Happy Sunday to you!

Deelightful images again!! I really love the first one-something about it just grabs me. Must be the scallop and the scrolls on the wrought iron.

And you are wondering what the heck am I talking about?? Oh, dear....I wonder what got posted to Kay in Alberta's blog then...
Oh, well! the lamp post with the planters remind me of the scene from Disney's Fantasia when Mickey is the sorcerer's apprentice. You know, the brooms carrying the buckets of water???
