Shadow Shot Sunday #131

This walking tunnel goes under the main highway so folks can walk from the downtown parking lot to the Indian casino. It was quite a controversial addition to our small Idaho town, as it didn't "come cheap". After a few years though, the ruckus has passed. We don't use it, but I did discover it casts some pretty cool shadows!
For more Shadow Shots visit Tracy at Hey Harriet. I hope your weekend is spent with people you love. Don't forget to hug them and let them know how much they mean to you. Life is fleeting.

Interesting picture! You are so right about life being fleeting! When you get to be my age, you realize it more every day! Wishing you and yours a great Thanksgiving!

That tunnel does make neat shadows Cassie. At first I thought it was the one for the theme park farther south, until I read "casino" and "small town," then I had to scratch my head a little!
Thanks for the comment, that song has been a favorite since I was a horse crazy pre-teen!

Wow-that's a pretty neat looking tunnel. Not even the local skateboarders use it?
Cool shots.

I like your tunnel shadows! These photos look like still shots from a science fiction movie! Cool! Expensive new additions to cities/towns often cause a ruckus amongst the locals! Enjoy the rest of your weekend Cassie :)

Beautiful Iowa farmland was plowed under to make way for another casino, so sad, but it is what it is, some things we just have no control over, so I'll look at the other side of the road and remember the beautiful old two story farmhouse that once graced the hillside.

The zebra motif is cool! The tunnel is functional, although it looks kind of like hardened hangars where USAF fighter jets park for safekeeping. It may be of little use to those who aren't going to the casino. Perfect for shadows, though!

Hi Cassie, I just read your comment about having difficulty leaving a comment on Sam's blog. I'm not sure why you're having troubles. I left a comment for Sam last night but just checking now to see if it worked I didn't see it displayed. But I think Sam has 'comment moderation' enabled so the comments are not published until she's logged into her blog I guess. Could that be the problem? You left a comment and you're just not seeing it? Other than that I don't know. I do find Typepad blogs do have a few more steps involved in leaving comments but your main info is generally saved so you don't have to go through the process each time. Anyway, I hope it works out. Maybe try again and if you still have troubles let me know and I'd be happy to leave Sam another comment letting her know :)

Neat tunnel even if it does go to a casino.

Don't care for them, cause my ex liked them way too much.
