Shadow Shot Sunday #125

It's pouring rain here in Idaho, so no natural shadows to shoot. Here's a prickly shot from my archives. I took this at our condo in Phoenix, where there are lots of different cacti.

For more Shadow Shots, go see Hey Harriett. Hope you are all having a good weekend.
Blessings to all who pass this way. love, Cassie

That's a pretty pink tinged cactus!
Wish we had a little a that rain! It's mighty dry in the deep south.

it's a great archive shot. are all the yellowish green parts flowers or will they be new prickly parts?

This cactus is sunning, from its light magenta edges to the thorny thorns to the golden flowers. I didn’t think you were in Idaho! You thus have a glimpse of the Desert Spring when you return...

Beautiful, shadowy cacti! They almost look like arty shells from the sea! Stunning photo!

The cactus make neat shadows, something I'm sure some desert animals know we;;. :)

Prickly shadows! I like them! It's raining here as well. Crazy rain! Crazy wind! Like a cyclone. The lid of my letterbox just snapped off and blew away! I should retrieve it but I dare not go outside until things settle down. Or I may blow away. I may end up in Idaho! That could be kind of fun :) Have a great week Cassie!

I'm like you here in Perth, Western Australia, today. I thought Summer was well on its way but today, no sunlight. It feels like winter is back for a day! I guess your seasons are the opposite of ours, so Summer is truly over for another year.
Blessings to you too!

Even those cacti show, their prettiness on "fall season" showing the lavender and moss greeny colour a great autum colour combo.

Pretty shadows too...

I have the same issue with shadow-less weather. But the cactus photo is great, glad you had the chance to share it!
