Shadow Shot Sunday ~ #19 ~ Men at Work

Poor Patrick had to move those blocks 4 times that day. What a guy!
These piers are being done exactly right. Rich is a perfectionist.
These are the lousy old footings --- Just 5 years old. Nice huh?
We have a big project going on at our cabin this year. Rich Brown Concrete has poured 12 deck piers/footing for new log posts which another contractor has installed. The original footing was done in a shoddy manor by another person so all had to be dug out and redone properly. Rich is also going to pour a patio out from our walkout basement and is putting up a small retaining wall on either side. When Patrick was home he borrowed our friend's trailer & picked up some blocks for the retaining wall. (We still need to get another 50 blocks.) These are a few Shadow Shots from the ongoing project.
For more Shadow Shots please visit Hey Harriet here. Hope you're all having a good weekend. Blessings to each one who stops this way.
love, Cassie

What a huge project! I'm exhausted just from looking at all the work going on there! It will be such a treat (and a big relief I imagine) when it's all completed.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend Cassie :)

Doing the job right the first time is always key - at least this crew will make things right! The shadows of those who toil show honest people making an honest living (and making things level and plumb, too :>)

Now these are what I call "working" shadow shots!! What a project! But I know it'll be worth the effort when completed! Terrific captures for the day, Cassie! Hope you have a great week!

Huh I think you need some fine terrier help to dig those old posts out. I'm pretty good and I think BR and H would be naturals.
Happy shadow shot sunday! Thanks for hooking me in.

I want to say thanks also for your recent visit to my blog. I left a long comment there for you, explaining who is who in my shadow picture.

Hi Cassie - I just saw your comment on Bobbie's blog - it's so good to read a sensible view, instead of Obama's damaging grandstanding! He should consider these facts - BP employs more people in the US than the UK and 40% of investors in BP are American. Suely it is in the interests of both our countries to work together to solve this dreadful problem, instead of his ignorant namecalling!!

looks like a big project going on there, and yes i can see the shadow.
