The line in front of us.
The line in back of us.
It was about a 45 minute wait...On little route 2 in Montana...Who'd a thunk it?!
For more Shadow Shots please spend some time over at our Aussie hostess, Tracy's place, Hey Harriet.
Blessings on the heads of all the bloggers who pass this way!
love, Cassie

Great shots ! have a brilliant weekend Cassie xxx
I like the one in the rear view mirror. :) Happy weekend, Cassie! Wishing you many blessings too.
Cassie, you make some of the BEST shadow shots! Have a wonderful weekend!
So what was the hold up all about? Or was it one of those mystery snarls; the kind for which there is no discernible rhyme or reason?
Terrific shadow shots, Cassie, but that sure looks different from the many empty roads in Montana when I lived there! You could sometimes drive for over an hour in some areas and never see another car!! Hope you have a great weekend!

Wow, the line of vehicles seem to stretch to infinity (almost) in both directions. Unsure of why, unless the one traffic light in any direction is malfunctioning and slowing the vehicles going to and fro. The upside is the perfect coming and going shadows you have captured!
Cassie that was a perfect idea to take those shots while in the line up .. I will have to start taking my little camera with me for shots like this : )

At least you got some great shadows! That is why I always keep a book in the car - just in case :) Hoping for clear roads ahead for you this week!
Quite a traffic hold up happening there! Great idea to use it as an unusual photo opportunity! And the car shadows accentuate the busy stillness!
So, why the wait? But, glad you made good use of your time!!
Now that's a long wait...at least you had the camera and shadows to entertain yourself!
It's such a short time before winter and blizzards hit, so the road crews are trying to get as much accomplished as possible! They were re-paving the road.
Great shots! I love route 2. I have taken this highway end to end. Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to the West coast. I lived along this highway in Ashland, WI and still travel that section often.
I love the thought of being in the very spot where you took the photos at some time in my life. Love this visit here today.
I put in a new link to my blog at Hey Harriet's. I screwed up the first one. Hope you have time to take a look.
Peace
Nice shots. That looks like out here in California!
oh waiting on traffic is such a nuisance. but what are ya gonna do? take shadow shots!! love it cassie!!
Even the shadows are at a stand-still! ;) At least you were able to entertain yourself while waiting.
We don't have enough cars in the Scottidsh Borders to cause a tailback like that!! Super fun shots.
This looks very familiar! :)
oh these are great shadow shots. I like the side mirror reflection. so did you ever find out what was causing the hold-up? I usually don't mind the wait, but I do like to know the cause of it for some reason. happy week to you Cassie.
Simply beautiful!
Late visiting from Shadow Shot Sunday, please come and see some shadows at my page. Have a great week ahead!
Nice shadows all around.
Picture perfect...and a picture within a picture for the second photo. Sweet.
Thanks for popping by yesterday for my Shadow Shot. Today's post is:
Macro Halloween Candle Holder...Eerie!!
HAVE A TERRORIFIC WEEK!!
Isn't it practical to have a camera with you - you got a memory ot that 45min wait and a shadow post here! :)
Have a good week!
Love all the shadows of the cars and vans. You are right--who would have thought there would be a "traffic jam" in Montana!!! Have a great week, Cassie. Mickie :)
