Shadow Shot Sunday #167 ~ Gnomes,Frogs and Dogs
I had to include my gnome riding his frog-steed in this, since my door/window shadows are a bit weird. I noticed Hootie's shadow in the mudroom door when I took BabyRocketDog out the other night. So, I ran back inside and grabbed my camera. His shadow made me laugh. (I'm not all that excited about my reflection in the glass though.)
For more ShadowShots head on over to hostess Tracy's blog HERE. Hope you all are having a good weekend. Blessings to all who pass this way.
love, Cassie

In the first photo the shadows look like they are reaching in to snatch the gnome. Better keep a close eye on those shadows. :))
Lovely gnome!

Garden gnomes always make me smile with delight. Yours is no exception!
COMPADRES
Shadows above me,
Shadows below;
Some shadows swift and
Some shadows slow;
All of these shadows,
It’s plain to see,
Are my compadres—
Sweet company!

Scissor Those Shadows!
A gnome needs rapid transit on occasion - their short legs have got to make them tired, so the frog's the ticket! The shadowy Hootie, though - a marauding shadow for sure!
I like your reflection - it adds extra interest ...... and it's good to see you!!
love that gnome!
HA! Hootie's shadow makes him look a little like an alien or something. :) Have a great weekend, Cassie.
a mad dash for the camera to catch a shadow...sounds very familiar. have a great weekend cassie.
Great shots! (I saw your reflection), Gnomes. There is this snmall town in Western Minnesota, (Trying to think of the name), that has a city park full of Gnomes. Yours riding a frog is a first for me, I usually just see them standing around doing nothing. Good stuff.
Peace
Great gnome - and I always enjoy seeing the photographer in the reflection.
Cute Gnome shot! Happy Sunday!
Here's my SSS post . Thanks and see you around!
What a hoot(ie)! Fun anyway, that's what I say.
Nice shots.
Regards!
Looks like Hootie was patiently waiting. :)
I was so taken with Hootie's shadow that I didn't even realize you were reflected there until you said it.
Love your little garden gnome, too!
