These Shadow Shots were all taken at Desert Dragon Pottery. There was (ceramic) dust in the air and all kinds of funky shadows. It was before my 2nd hand camera arrived, so I used Patrick's Nikon. The place was a clutter with pottery waiting to be painted and fired and some completed and some broken. Artists are often quite scattered, so I took advantage of the shadowy set ups presented before me!

Lots of really great shadows this time around, Cassie. Happy weekend to you! :)
Artists are indeed scattered in temperament, in business. But they focus on their art, and focus well. The potter creates, and if it is not up to his/her standards, it is time to break it all and start anew. What a cool desert artist!
Wow! Terrific shadow shots for the day! Looks like a really interesting place and a great variety of shadows! Hope your weekend is going well! It does look as though you have a great time!

Are ya havin' fun yet??
I love the magic of the Southwest! And I like very much the shadows in these shots!
What fun, Cassie! I have never thrown a pot, in fact, I haven't done anything with clay past the spiral strip snail! I'll have to look into those groupons...
Looks like a great place to visit and watch pottery being made. Did you go home with some interesting pieces? Mickie
It's like we were there with you as the sun rose in the morning sky over all that pottery!
You sure did find lots of glorious shadows in that pottery studio! I'm off to read your previous pottery post now! Have a great week Cassie!
I bet that was a fun, fun place to visit. I liked the use of the word funky to describe the shadows.

Cassie, I loved these shadow shots...SO cool.
Of course, Patrick always looks cool and CUTE!!!
Cassie ! That was amazing : ) I would so love to poke around that place and bargain for some of the pottery .. it had such a special atmosphere .. you could almost hear a conversation happening from the artists relaxing and chatting !
This was a great series of shadow shots : )
My Austrian Pine if not in the pot could reach 75 feet if it were in the ground .. but some how it allows me to keep it alive as a large Bonsia !

Lots of great shadow shots in there! I've never tried my hand at pottery, but it looks fun.
That's a neat place.
Excellent shadows yet again. I love potteries, just browsing in them for something unusual is such fun.

Great shadow pics!
Also, wanted to let you know the garden is doing well so far. I've been watering it every day but have to watch I don't over water it, lol! The gnome gave me back the hat to finish it. He's not getting it back.
