A to Z Food Monday ~ The Letter W

Watermelon sculpture is one of the most beautiful art forms. I never heard of it until the Internet. All of these photos have been taken from the Internet and most are from a website called Chinese Watermelon Art/Sculpture .
For more wonderful W's, go see Jen's blog, Unglazed. Have a great week, & whoever you may be, know that Jesus loves you!! Blessings,
Cassie

Wow!! I was beginning to think you were really handy with a knife. I sculpt watermelon too - right before I eat it. My little sculptures look like triangles. LOL!

Have a great week,
Lynn

Those sculptures are pretty amazing, Cassie! I love watermelon. The fanciest thing I ever did with one was make a fruit bowl/boat out of one. Happy Monday to you!

Gorgeous! When I first saw it, I thought the first one was a plate! I wouldn't want to eat them, they're so beautiful.

I had seen some before on a couple of the food network challenge shows.

Very talented people with lots of patience.

Hi Cassie thanks for stopping by and I agree with your first post its hard to describe. When I tried to tell my mom, she thought I was crazy... That God would talk to me.. her wild child. Well I am a lot calmer these days. LOL
I did a small watermellon piece that is posted on Wills blog of a watermellon birdcage with two lemon birds used as a centerpiece for nephew's wedding shower. But now where near this level.

It is amazing that you can make such beauty out of a soggy ol' watermelon.
